The Lodge is the ideal place to get away from it all and escape! Located on a magical 50 acre woodland estate, the lodge is situated on a secluded, leafy island on the Glengarriff River. Our self catering accommodation can host up to 8 adults in style. Enjoy the serenity of your own private island on the beautiful Glengarriff River and explore the surrounding Nature Reserve.

The House

The House is a most enchanting thatched cottage – now with all ‘mod cons’! It was originally built as a hunting lodge for the Earls of Bantry and was known locally as ‘Lord Bantry’s Lodge’.

Carefully restored to a high standard, this captivating residence is now a unique self-catering destination and has everything one might reasonably expect in a luxurious country house (including free, high-speed, wireless broadband).

Unrivalled tranquillity of setting, period furniture, log fires and the easy elegance of this home create an atmosphere which is warm and welcoming throughout all seasons.
